We are a hardcore research team hungry to build the next generation of computer vision and machine learning technology. Ring’s R&D-center in Kiev that is focused on applying AI, machine learning, computer vision and intellectual data analysis technology for smart home security products.

Job Summary

— Analyze existing RF solutions using complex engineering tools
— Apply propagation and antenna theory for tuning RF backend with recommending possible solutions to hardware problems
— Design and validate RF link performance, quality and reliability
— Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment
— Develop software for wireless technology
— Create manuals and support documentation

Qualifications and Skills

— M.S. in RF/Electronics/Telecom Engineering
— Proven experience in the area of developing wireless connectivity solutions
— Deep knowledge of IEEE 802.11/802.15, both MAC and PHY layers
— Knowledge of at least one of Broadcom/Atheros/TI wireless stacks would be a plus
— Experience in the RF circuitry engineering would be a plus
— English communication skills (speak, read, write)
